Timeline

Designed to move from vision to action, the Strategic Compass is implemented through unit-level planning, strategic projects, and measurable indicators. This ensures goals are translated into real work and outcomes, and are fully integrated into how WVU plans, invests, and delivers impact every day. The Strategic Compass will continue to evolve as planning, measurement, and implementation advance across WVU.

Phase 1:

Phase 1 consisted of setting high-level strategic priorities and goals for the University.

Phase 2:

In phase 2, we’re turning ideas into action by identifying strategic actions that will position the University to be successful today and into the future.
